The Suzuki method is a new, innovative and exciting way of experiencing the joys of  playing and studying a musical instrument.  It is based on a linguistic approach to learning; so that just as a child learns to speak before he can read, so a child learns to play before he can read music.

At the core of the success of this method is the parent's participation in the learning process.  Trained along with the child in the basics of the instrument, the parent can then successfully guide the child's practice.  It is this aspect of the program that makes it possible to effectively teach a child as young as 3-1/2 or 4 years old.

The Suzuki learning environment is always a positive one and through this unique process the children develop confidence, self-esteem, concentration, self-discipline and the determinationt to try difficult things, along with a lasting love of music and the skill and sensitivity for making music.
